I have no idea…

My words are exiting my mouth garbled and weak… Actually, they are resembling incoherence and disjointedness.

I will just post this picture I took at the Bay Bridge tollbooth. It struck me as odd at the time, but I guess it really isn’t. Since then, I have seen this same juxtaposition three or four times… I think they are friends. The tollbooth guy is just waving them through. He is probably part of their motorcycle entourage, or perhaps they are slangin’ through his booth.

Iron Springs Pub & Brewery

I decided to swing past this lovely brewpub in Fairfax, CA.  As you can see, it has some lovely stained glass in the front of the bar. I decided to eat (and drink) outside, so I did not really see the inside of the building.

Here is a shot of their beer selection. They had quite a few brews on tap, and all of them we tried were excellent. You can choose the ones you want so that you get what you like (I tend to be hoppier and darker while my wife prefers lighter ales and Hefes). You can see my choices here:

The beer samplers are on  enumerated paddles (so that you know which beer is which). My wife was depressed the only thing you can see of her is her breasts.

Especially nice was the outdoor seating, which allowed my wog Sadie to chill under the table.

Good Beer and ambience… I will return.

You can visit their website here…

the Pike Pub and Brewery

I looked at their website this time and know the proper nomenclature. This brewpub is the Pike Brewery and Pub, which is the brewpub for the Pike Brewing Co. The Pike Brewing Company is not actually located on Pike, but it is within a stones throw (not by me though… I am a pansy thrower).

Here is a selection of the 6 beers they had on tap. They were as marvelous as the last time I had an opportunity to buy a sixer of their varietals or the prior time I had come to their location to sample their wares.

As you can see, my wife liked the brews as well…

I took a shot of the beers on tap; I believe that I was a Kilt Lifter sort (seems proper for me; I love a malty Scotch Red)

They have brewing implements over the premises; as if they were brewin’ around ye…

Or over you…

I even took a shot of their frontside… It does not do the premises justice. I like this brewpub quite a bit. Only 6 beers, but all done well.

Elliott Bay Brewing Company

A nice brewpub located in West Seattle. It had a moderate selection (the five pictured brews) and all were good. I realize I should really make notes or take more pictures to remember if they were good or bad. Alas… another reason to visit again.

Well… I don’t have reviews for the beer, but I have a sign picture from the wall so that I know where I took it…

Maybe I should just take pics of the names and an accompanying thumbs-up/thumbs-down or shrugging (symbol of indifference)

Opening of the Olympic Sculpture Park

Now let’s try this with Picasawebs free upload service…

Here are some pictures from the opening of the SAM Olympic Sculpture Park. I just happened to be there the day it opened and decided to check-it-out.
